Our Very First Apple

We planted apple trees two years ago, and they've been growing steadily.  You can view their progress here, here, here, here, and here.  My husband removed all but one of the fruits this year to allow energy to go into the tree itself, so we got one apple to sample.  A fun preview for next year, when we hope we'll have our first real little harvest.  This is a Gold Rush.
